- EX Weapons are a new type of weapons that have two Special Ability Slots and an extra Normal Effect Slot, offering players plenty of freedom to customize.
- Up to two Special Abilities can be inherited to an EX Weapon, from any weapons of the same type and element as the base EXW whose initial rarities are equal to or lower than the EXW's.
- For example, a 3* Wind EX Great Sword can inherit two Special Abilities from 3* or 2* Wind Great Swords.
- Players can choose which of the two Special Abilities to launch by flicking up or down the EXW's icon on the Battle Screen.
- Up to two Normal Effects can be inherited to an EX Weapon from any weapons or scrolls.
- (As of June 2018, these gears are only available in the Pure Wind Festival Gacha.)
- An introductory set of five 3* EXWs were gifted to all players.
- On July 23, 2018, Earth Element EX Weapons became available in the Pure Earth Festival Gacha.
- On August 27, 2018, Water Element EX Weapons became available in the Pure Water Festival Gacha.
- On September 24, 2018, Fire Element EX Weapons became available in the Pure Fire Festival Gacha.
