Recommended Starting Weapons[]
Anything not listed here can still be a consideration for other uses. Such as increasing your damage instead.
Knight[]
End game Knight objective is to be very tanky, and can hold aggro. At the start to mid-game you will want to still be able to deal damage, but you should ultimately leave that to Thief, Black Mage, and Hunter.
High Priority[]
Recommended | Reason |
---|---|
Gives HP+ Buff that increases your total HP by 50% for 3 minutes. You can stack this effect. Some top players have even achieved 90k HP with a lot of these. |
Priority[]
Recommended | Reason |
---|---|
Gives Regen II allowing auto healing over time. Combo's well with Special Abilities that requires buffs. | |
Aggro sword that does not require hitting the correct element to generate more hate. This sword will allow you to start getting into the role of tanking regardless of target's element, but your DPS will take a dip when hitting anything other than Wind. The Special Ability removes the rest of your party's hate by half. | |
Aggro swords much like above, but does not function unless you're hitting the correct element. These are better at stealing the immediate hate from your party if the element is correct with the Special Ability. | |
File:5SwordF6.png | The main draw from these two swords is the buff Cover which transfers portion of the damage your allies takes to you. The fire sword has the buff Phalanx as well, which lets your allies sit at the rear row, giving you a boost to your damage reduction. |
Black Mage[]
End game Black Mage objective is to be very fast at burst damage. A lot of their 5* gears helps increases their BP gain, which lets you fire off more Special Ability than other jobs.
High Priority[]
Almost every 5* weapons are welcomed.
Priority[]
White Mage[]
End Game White Mage objective is to be heavy healer and buffer. You will need to get at least three 5* healing books, and a resurrection book on high difficulty dungeons like Abyss Hall for their top floors. Fortunately most of your healing books comes with buffs. You still can deal enough damage to one-shot enhancement dungeon monsters, and deal respectable damage to help your allies make things a bit faster.
High Priority[]
Priority[]
Recommended | Reason |
---|---|
These books all have healing special abilities. They all come with their own set of buffs. They increase P.ATK/P.DEF/M.ATK/M.DEF for your allies, as well as giving Brave and Default which increases total damage given and reduces total damage taken. | |
File:5BookF6.png | This book has a heal special with the buff Haste II. It removes 30s to current and max cooldowns to anyone that receives it. |
In the event that you didn't get the Grimoire of World Tree, this 4* Book (Common to get from Gacha) can also resurrect unconscious allies for 10% of their HP, while taking 50% HP from you. Unlike the Grimoire of Eriru's Concealment, the cooldown is a lot faster. |
Thief[]
End Game Thief objective is to be the fastest DPS. A lot of weapons and armors for them is designed to allow you to auto attack very fast and strong. The gimmick behind some of them depends on your HP%, granting you buff to deal even more damage or increases your survival.
High Priority[]
Almost every 5* weapons are welcomed.
Priority[]
Recommended | Reason |
---|---|
File:5TwinSwordsF6.png | This weapon has the buff Shadow II, which is a support buff which can be given to allies as well. This will double the amount of auto attacks to whoever receives the buff. The power of the extra attacks isn't 100%, but it's pretty high to warrant to get to improve team DPS. |
Hunter[]
End Game Hunter objective is to DPS and chronically debuff your targets. They specializes in Poison among them as well which deals an absurd amount of damage and all stacks! It will deal heavy damage to them overtime, so all you gotta worry about is keeping your team alive and get the boss killed faster while reducing their P.ATK/P.DEF/M.ATK/M.DEF.
High Priority[]
Priority[]
Recommended | Reason |
---|---|
Poison Bows. These bows will only work when you're hitting the correct elements. When the conditions are met, you can continuously stack Poison giving your target a timely death. | |
File:5BowF6.png | This weapon has the debuff Weakness. This increases the damage the enemy takes overall. |
What about Armors?[]
Armors in this game serves very good purposes.
- Increases your survival.
- Increases your normal ability or special ability damage.
- 5* Armors has awesome buff/effects.
However, most of the effects they carry requires you to specifically use the correct weapon types, with the correct elements, for the correct effects. Armor in this game is very flexible, and you shouldn't always be using 5* ones unless it actually benefits you skill wise.
